Update from Headteacher - Arrangements for Monday 23rd March

Dear parent/ carer,

Information was shared yesterday in the form of a letter from Executive Director, Carrie Lindsay, with regard to the setting up of hubs at some point this week to support childcare arrangements for key workers.

Please be reminded that LHS will be open between 12 and 1pm tomorrow, Mon 23rd March, to serve free meals for those registered, (although any local primary can provide the same service- soup and main course)

We are also open at the start of the week STRICTLY BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT WITH THEIR TEACHER, WHO WILL HAVE ALREADY BEEN IN CONTACT WITH THEM, for any young person in S4-6 yet to complete SQA coursework. This will be subject to stringent public health distancing protocols.
Please take no unnecessary risks and encourage our young people to follow and adhere to the government advice and guidelines.

Our priority is to keep everyone in our community safe over the next days, weeks and months.

Please be aware that should any arrangements change as Government advice is issued we will communicate either via Groupcall, email, Twitter (@LochgellyHS), School App or on our LHS school website.

Keep safe,
Mrs Debbie Aitken
Headteacher
